Actually , you're totally wrong Overpopulation is a serious problem that can not solve, Istanbul is really good example for overpopulation. There are 20M+ people living in Istanbul. It causes air pollution , traffic jam, difficulties about finding a job, problems about parking lots etc...
But except these , Istanbul is a beautiful city as you said. Its so good for vacation but not ok for living
